    Baroness Thangam Debbonaire

    Thangam Debbonaire is a Labour Peer, former Member of Parliament for Bristol West and served as Shadow Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport from 2023 to 2024. In this role, she championed the UK’s creative industries, pushing for fairer funding, improved access to the arts, and stronger protections for cultural workers. She worked closely with national institutions and grassroots organisations alike, advocating for the role of culture in economic growth, education, and wellbeing. A classically trained cellist, Thangam brought deep personal passion and policy expertise to the brief, and remains a leading voice on cultural policy within the Labour Party.

    Charlotte Appleyard

    Charlotte served as Director of Development & Business Innovation at the Royal Academy of Arts from 2014-2024. where she oversaw Major Gifts, Corporate Sponsorship, Events, Membership, Legacies and founded the Business Innovation Team. Before that she served as a Director at Outset Contemporary Art Fund, and in the curatorial departments at The National Gallery in London and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. She has served on the boards of Turner Contemporary, The Ministry of Stories, The Institute of Contemporary Arts and the Evening Standard London Recovery Board.

    Tom Pollard

    Tom is an experienced political advisor with a background in international development, gender equality, and foreign affairs, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. He has held senior roles in the Foreign Office, the Department for International Development, and with parliamentarians. From 2021, he advised Harriet Harman on women’s equality and criminal justice reform, contributing to key feminist legislation and her inquiry into Boris Johnson. Before the 2024 general election, he worked with Thangam Debbonaire, then Shadow Culture Secretary. He now advises national arts organisations on political strategy and engagement with the Labour government, bringing deep expertise in legislative and political strategy.

    Matt Redmore

    Matt Redmore is a communications and campaigns professional with experience across the charity and political sectors. He has held senior fundraising roles with multiple charities where he led fundraising initiatives and delivered successful public-facing campaigns. Skilled in messaging, content creation, and graphic design, he knows how to create impactful communications across print and digital channels to drive home your message. With a background in grassroots organising, Matt brings strong stakeholder management, persuasion, and relationship-building skills. He is passionate about social change, civic engagement, and using clear, creative communication to create narratives, inspire action and build support.

  • Constance Ayrton

    Constance Ayrton is a bilingual strategic communications executive with expertise in cultural media, public relations, and brand storytelling. With degrees from Cambridge and King’s College London, she has led international campaigns for top cultural institutions and brands at Sutton, including Art Basel, Rolls-Royce, and Guerlain. She has also managed executive communications for Harriet Green OBE, focusing on equity and mental health. Earlier roles include internships at Christie’s, Sotheby’s, and Artcurial. A published cultural journalist and classically trained musician, Constance is committed to fostering partnerships between the arts and corporate worlds. She is a recipient of multiple academic and leadership awards.
